Job Description Summary
Durham University’s Department of Earth Sciences is seeking an outstanding Associate Professor to lead research and teaching in Environmental Sustainability, contributing to a new MSc program and addressing critical global environmental challenges.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality teaching for the MSc Environmental Sustainability course
- Lead research in environmental geosciences, earth system science, and sustainability
- Supervise MSc and PhD students
- Develop research project proposals and secure funding
- Contribute to departmental and university administrative functions
