Job Description Summary

The University of Cambridge is seeking an Assistant Professor to spearhead research and teaching in the simulation of energy materials. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the energy transition through cutting-edge research and the development of a new MPhil program.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a dynamic, high-quality research program in the theory and simulation of materials relevant to the energy transition
  • Co-direct the new Advanced Materials for the Energy Transition (AMET) taught MPhil Programme
  • Collaborate with experimentalists and researchers across departments
  • Deliver lectures, supervise projects, and manage course administration for the AMET MPhil
  • Contribute to undergraduate teaching and departmental administration
