Job Description Summary
The University of Cambridge is seeking an Assistant Professor to spearhead research and teaching in the simulation of energy materials. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the energy transition through cutting-edge research and the development of a new MPhil program.
Responsibilities
- Develop a dynamic, high-quality research program in the theory and simulation of materials relevant to the energy transition
- Co-direct the new Advanced Materials for the Energy Transition (AMET) taught MPhil Programme
- Collaborate with experimentalists and researchers across departments
- Deliver lectures, supervise projects, and manage course administration for the AMET MPhil
- Contribute to undergraduate teaching and departmental administration
