As an Electromechanical Technician at Agropur, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring smooth operations in our state-of-the-art dairy production facility. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining and optimizing the equipment that produces our renowned butter and milk powder products, which contribute significantly to the local economy.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Conduct thorough inspections, repairs, and maintenance on all production equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, and automation issues
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to analyze and resolve equipment failures
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, workplace health and safety programs, and equipment modification projects
• Provide technical support to production and other departments
• Perform general maintenance tasks and other duties related to the maintenance department

Your Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this position, you should possess:

• A DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in Electromechanics or equivalent qualification
• Strong teamwork skills and analytical thinking abilities
• Resourcefulness and excellent manual dexterity
• Experience in the agri-food industry (an asset)
• Electrical certification (C license) (an asset)
• Technical experience in industrial instrumentation, control, and PLC programming (e.g., Allen Bradley, Intouch) (an asset)
