Job Description Summary

As the Director of Sales at Rixos Jeddah Obhur, you’ll spearhead sales initiatives for a luxurious integrated resort featuring 247 residential units, including 174 rooms and 73 villas. Your expertise will be crucial in establishing and nurturing key accounts, developing strategic sales plans, and driving revenue growth for this exceptional property.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Management: Identify prospective accounts and establish goals for key clients by analyzing historical data and conducting account interviews.
  • Market Analysis and Forecasting: Conduct rate market surveys to advise management on current trends and prepare monthly reports summarizing activities, prospection, and production figures.
  • Sales Representation: Attend trade fairs to represent the hotel and region, coordinating with Regional or Corporate Sales teams.
  • Client Engagement: Achieve a minimum of 5-7 personal sales/courtesy calls and 10 telephone sales/courtesy calls daily, maintaining prompt correspondence with accounts.
  • Contract Negotiation: Establish and sign contracts with local and international partners, adhering to official rate policies and coordinating with hotel management.
  • Team Collaboration: Hold regular meetings with hotel operations teams to exchange information and solve problems, ensuring a cohesive approach to sales and service delivery.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments from local travel trade partners, aligning with the hotel’s credit policy.
  • Performance Tracking: Prepare and transmit weekly call reports and establish monthly reports detailing past activities, market trends, and competitor analyses.
