Job Description Summary
The Digital Mental Health Group at the University of Cambridge’s MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit is seeking a Senior/Postdoctoral Research Associate to join their innovative team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research at the intersection of adolescent mental health, cognitive neuroscience, and digital technologies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced statistical analyses on pre-existing longitudinal data using techniques such as dSEM or causal approaches
- Perform computational modeling of behavioral data, potentially utilizing reinforcement learning methodologies
- Analyze objective social media data (e.g., TikTok videos) using Large Language Models (LLMs) and other advanced techniques
- Develop new and creative ideas, methodologies, and approaches to address challenging and societally important questions
- Collaborate with group members on developing projects and analyzing newly collected datasets
- Design and implement strategies to ensure long-term reproducibility of research projects
- Collaborate with international colleagues through the CERES network
- Contribute to the group’s research programmes based on personal interests and skills
