We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Manager to join our newly established Group Data & Analytics Office in Luxembourg. This role combines strategic leadership in data governance with hands-on implementation of industry-leading practices in the wealth management sector.

Responsibilities 📋

Data Governance Leadership

• Develop and implement comprehensive data governance policies aligned with industry standards and BCBS 239 requirements
• Lead the deployment and optimization of Collibra platform for enhanced data management
• Drive data quality initiatives across the organization
• Establish and maintain data governance frameworks and methodologies

Strategic Implementation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data governance roles
• Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement
• Manage enterprise-wide data quality and governance programs
• Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Technical Leadership

• Oversee Collibra implementation and configuration
• Manage data dictionaries and business glossaries
• Implement data quality monitoring processes
• Drive data lineage and metadata management initiatives

Required Skills and Qualifications 🎓

• Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, IT, Computer Sciences, or Statistics
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data governance or data management
• Expertise in Collibra or similar data governance tools
• Strong understanding of BCBS 239 and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in SQL and data management tools
• Python or R programming skills (advantageous)
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Additional languages (French, German, or Dutch) are beneficial
