Job Description Summary of Data Analyst
Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking a part-time Data Analyst to support the Master of Science in PA Studies (MSPA) program. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the data management and analysis needs of a world-renowned medical education institution.
Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze complex data patterns, producing relevant reports, charts, and tables
- Validate data to ensure high quality and distribute reports to internal stakeholders
- Develop dashboards and key performance indicators to monitor organizational performance
- Manage and clean datasets using extraction and reporting programming languages
- Research and reconcile data discrepancies among various information systems
- Collaborate with data managers to implement data standards and common data elements
- Assist in identifying new data sources and methods to improve data collection and analysis
- Potentially test prototype software and participate in approval processes for new software
