Job Description Summary
One Stop Stores, a subsidiary of Tesco PLC, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Assistant to join our team in Hollingworth, UK. This role offers an exciting opportunity to serve local shoppers and be an integral part of our community-focused convenience store.
Responsibilities
- Greet and warmly welcome customers, engaging with them to understand their shopping needs
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in finding products and answering queries
- Ensure the store is well-presented, with the right products on shelves and fantastic services on offer
- Work as part of a team to complete store duties efficiently and effectively
- Handle age-restricted product sales responsibly, always thinking “25” when serving
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Assist with stock management and replenishment
- Operate the till and process various payment methods accurately
- Support the implementation of promotional activities and displays
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
