Job Description Summary

Western Diagnostic Pathology is seeking a dedicated Commercial Collector to join their healthcare team in Darwin, Northern Territory. This casual position involves performing on-site collections of various specimens while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and accuracy.

Healthcare Collection Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site collections of urine/saliva specimens and COVID swabs from clients
  • Ensure accurate and timely specimen collection following proper protocols
  • Maintain professional communication with clients and stakeholders
  • Document and handle specimens according to healthcare standards
  • Collaborate with the collection team to meet daily objectives
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy standards
  • Participate in quality assurance programs
  • Maintain collection equipment and supplies
