• Produce high-quality research publications and secure external funding for coastal research
• Supervise, co-supervise, and examine PhD dissertations
• Maintain a high profile as a leader in your academic field
• Promote enterprise and engagement at UEA

We’re looking for a candidate with:

• A strong track record in coastal research and climate change
• Expertise in natural science, social sciences, or engineering related to open coasts, estuaries, and associated coastal lowlands
• An interest in holistic and system-level understanding of coasts
• A demonstrable interest in coastal science and climate change
• The ability to build upon the extensive coastal expertise at UEA and collaborate across disciplines
