Queen’s University Belfast is seeking a Clinical Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Clinical Oncology to strengthen their academic base and contribute to innovative cancer clinical trials. This role combines research, teaching, and clinical practice in a world-class institution.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research aligned with the School’s strategy, focusing on clinical oncology and cancer outcomes improvement
• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in clinical oncology and related fields
• Contribute to the School’s administration and outreach activities
• Deliver and enhance clinical services in clinical oncology at the Northern Ireland Clinical Cancer Centre
• Develop and lead clinical trials within the Patrick G Johnston Centre for Cancer Research (PGJCCR) and the new iREACH Health institute
• Collaborate with academic and clinical teams to advance research in colorectal cancer and advanced radiation
• Attend site-specific MDTs and manage patient care within regional cancer access standards
• Support the development of non-medical prescribing and self-directed aftercare
