Job Description Summary

Jetfly, a leader in fractional aircraft ownership in Europe, is seeking a Part 145 Junior Safety & Compliance Officer to join their maintenance department at Bournemouth Aviation Services Ltd (BASL). This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to aviation safety and regulatory compliance in a dynamic, international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Safety & Compliance Systems in accordance with EASA & CAA Part 145 regulations
  • Monitor and initiate internal & external audits as per the Part 145 audit plan
  • Serve as an interface between maintenance organizations, Authorities, and other Jetfly Group entities for Safety & Compliance matters
  • Handle staff licensing with Authorities and coordinate On-Job-Training (OJT) for future certifying staff
  • Assess qualification needs and additional training requirements in collaboration with Maintenance Managers
  • Track discrepancies and oversee the development and implementation of corrective action plans
  • Establish Safety & Compliance performance indicators
  • Foster a Just Culture and promote Continuous Improvement in the production environment
  • Travel to different Jetfly entities as needed

Remote Work Policy

This position is based on-site at our Bournemouth facility. However, the role may require occasional travel to our other entities in Germany, Switzerland, and the UK. While primarily an on-site position, we provide the necessary tools and support to ensure effective collaboration across our international network.

Q: What certifications are beneficial for this role?

A: An EASA Part 66 AML (B1, B2 or C) is considered an asset. Knowledge of COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) No 1321/2014 & 376/2014 is required or strongly recommended. Experience with ISO 9000/9100 and knowledge of ISO 27001 are also valuable.
