Job Description Summary
The University of Glasgow is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Demonstrator to support undergraduate courses by demonstrating practical equipment, experiments, and techniques. This role offers an excellent opportunity for MSci students to gain valuable teaching experience while contributing to the university’s educational mission.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the use of practical equipment, experiments, and techniques to undergraduate students
- Provide instruction and guidance to small groups and individual students
- Assist students in carrying out practical exercises and answer related questions
- Maintain a safe laboratory environment and adhere to health and safety protocols
- Contribute to the development of teaching materials and workbooks
- Prepare materials for demonstrations and exercises before sessions
