Since 2016, this passionate organization has been working tirelessly to improve the lives of companion animals across the globe. The Foundation operates through three key strategic goals:

📋 Animal Welfare Trustee Responsibilities
As a Trustee focused on animal welfare and legal governance, you will play a crucial role in shaping the Foundation’s strategic direction and ensuring its operations maintain the highest standards of effectiveness and compliance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and upholding the mission and values of The Edgard & Cooper Foundation
- Providing strategic input on the Theory of Change model and setting key priorities
- Contributing expert knowledge for decision-making and evaluation of partners and grant-making activities
- Ensuring legal compliance, risk management, and governance best practices are integrated across all Foundation activities
- Reviewing budgets, statutory annual accounts, and internal processes (financial, operational, etc.)
- Providing guidance on external communications when required
- Supporting the Foundation team with specialized expertise and critical advice
- Reviewing organizational structure and advising on Board membership and succession planning
- Serving as an ambassador for the Foundation and monitoring organizations funded through grants
