Job Description Summary

The University of Plymouth seeks a dedicated Accommodation Booking Assistant to join their dynamic team, managing over 1,700 bedrooms across multiple campuses. This role combines customer service excellence with administrative expertise to ensure a seamless accommodation experience for students.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for accommodation-related queries via phone and email
  • Manage bookings and occupancy using StarRez accommodation software
  • Allocate parking spaces and maintain detailed interaction records
  • Process confidential information following GDPR guidelines
  • Participate in key events including Open Days, Applicant Days, and Student Arrivals
  • Support NHS partner accommodation services in Torbay, Taunton, and Truro
  • Handle sensitive communications with parents and families
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to team members
