The University of Exeter is seeking an experienced AccessAbility Officer to provide crucial support, information, and guidance to students and applicants with a range of disabilities, while working collaboratively with AccessAbility Advisors and the Pathway Lead.
📝 Responsibilities
- Provide information, advice, and guidance to students and applicants with various disabilities
- Support AccessAbility Advisors and the Pathway Lead with specialized tasks and projects
- Advise students on the Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSA) process
- Deliver general guidance on disability services and appropriate signposting
- Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Engage professionally with academic and professional services staff within the University
- Support the development and extension of services for prospective and current students with disabilities
- Work across both Streatham and St Luke’s campuses, along with some home-based work in this hybrid role
