Job Description Summary
CWT’s Traveler Experience (TX) team is seeking an experienced Travel Counselor to join their Energy Resources and Marine (ERM) team in the UK. This role involves providing high-touch service to book travel and accommodation for ERM clients, with the flexibility to work remotely or from the Warrington office.
Travel Counselor Responsibilities 🧳
The Travel Experience Counselor II role at CWT offers a unique opportunity to work with specialized clients in the Energy, Resources, and Marine sectors. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Processing and completing travel requirements for corporate clients according to their travel policies and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), covering air travel, car rentals, and hotel accommodations
- Creating and accurately completing complex travel requests for ERM travelers, including rotational and multi-guest bookings
- Providing hotel booking services with additional offerings such as billback, car parking, meals, and laundry
- Delivering comprehensive domestic and international consulting services for global clients
- Acting as a trusted advisor by offering informed recommendations for optimal traveler experiences
- Proactively suggesting best options based on client travel policies and requirements
- Responding promptly and professionally to requests via phone, email, and chat channels
- Managing first-level customer complaints or escalations, both pre-travel and during trips
- Resolving complex problems including non-standard and multi-destination requests, ticket exchanges, and complex fares for all traveler types globally
- Contributing positively as an individual team member in a high-touch, complex interaction environment
- Assisting team members with problem resolution, learning, and research
- Providing innovative ideas and feedback to leadership
Qualifications and Skills Required ✅

- Minimum 3 years of experience in the travel industry
- Strong knowledge of international fares (ERM experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided)
- Excellent customer service experience and proven track record
