Job Description Summary
SES Luxembourg is seeking a talented Senior Engineer to join their international team operating from Luxembourg and USA. The role focuses on managing the health, monitoring, and operations of spacecraft Power and Thermal subsystems across SES’s fleet of GEO and MEO satellites.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the health of Electrical Power & Thermal subsystems across the satellite fleet
- Provide 24/7 on-call support and specialized assistance for new satellite construction programs
- Develop and maintain performance monitoring tools using MATLAB or Python
- Perform engineering analyses and modeling of spacecraft subsystems
- Interface with internal teams and external satellite manufacturers
- Lead technical projects and stay current with industry trends
- Support full satellite lifecycle from procurement through launch and operations
- Conduct performance evaluations and trending analysis
- Participate in contingency operations and problem-solving activities
