Job Description Summary

Join the prestigious Fairmont Grand Del Mar as a Reservations Agent, where you’ll be responsible for creating outstanding first impressions over the phone and driving hotel sales by presenting our luxury resort experience to guests while providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls professionally and courteously, managing guest inquiries about the resort and its amenities
• Book hotel reservations accurately using the property management system
• Maintain current knowledge of all promotions, packages, room rates, and holiday specials
• Upsell rooms according to established procedures to maximize hotel average room rate
• Manage and respond to web-related email reservations and inquiries
• Research and address guest complaints professionally
• Provide accurate information about San Diego and surrounding attractions
• Assess and offer creative suggestions for guest and conference requests
• Keep up-to-date with technology systems and resort policies
• Work flexibly according to business levels and industry demand
