The School of Biological Sciences at the University of Cambridge is seeking a dynamic Roving Researcher to provide experimental support to researchers on leave and maintain research momentum. Responsibilities

• Provide experimental support to researchers on leave, including those on maternity leave
• Develop and implement research plans to maintain project momentum during periods of researcher absence
• Work simultaneously on 2-3 projects across multiple departments within the School of Biological Sciences
• Adapt to various research areas, including animal, human, plant, and microbial science
• Undergo training in new techniques as required for different projects
• Collaborate with other researchers and staff to troubleshoot issues and advance projects
• Manage diverse lab workloads and run multiple projects concurrently
• Communicate technical and conceptual information clearly, both verbally and in writing
