The University of Plymouth is seeking an enthusiastic Infrastructure Analyst to join their Technology & Information Services (TIS) team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of a customer-focused, cost-effective, and efficient infrastructure support service within a prestigious academic institution.

Responsibilities

  • 🖥️ Contribute to the delivery of a customer-focused, cost-effective, and efficient Infrastructure support service
  • 🕵️ Spend time shadowing experienced team members to gain in-depth knowledge of systems and processes
  • 🧩 Assist in building complex narratives around IT infrastructure and systems
  • 🔍 Work under supervision to implement IT solutions and resolve issues
  • 📊 Develop awareness and knowledge in key areas such as information security, availability and capacity management, and product lifecycle management
  • 🛠️ Build skills in systems design, integration, and service support
  • 👥 Collaborate with colleagues across the university to plan and achieve joint projects and objectives
  • 📞 Participate in the TIS out-of-hours on-call rota to ensure continuous service availability
