Job Description Summary
The University of Luxembourg is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join their Interdisciplinary Centre of Security and Trust (SnT) for a groundbreaking project in 5G/6G Non-Terrestrial Networks and Satellite Communications. Responsibilities
- 📡 Implement and simulate 3GPP radio access and core network standards using MATLAB and OpenAirInterface
- 🛰️ Conduct research on Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTNs), Multicast and Broadcast Services (MBSs), and Uncrewed Aerial Vehicle (UAV) communications
- 🔬 Develop experimental emulators, prototypes, and testbeds for validating research outcomes
- 📊 Perform real-world testing using emulators, software-defined radios, drones, and satellites
- 📝 Publish research findings in prestigious peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- 💼 Contribute to research proposals for industrial, national, and European projects
- 👥 Collaborate on various research projects and potentially supervise PhD students
