• Develop, test, and refine high-quality online learning materials and activities
• Support Durham’s diverse student community in blended and distance learning
• Create engaging and interactive digital content using various software tools
• Implement digital design principles to enhance the learner experience
• Ensure accessibility for learners with diverse needs
• Collaborate with academic staff to develop effective online learning strategies
• Participate in internal and external networks to share best practices
• Provide specialist advice and guidance on digital learning to colleagues
• Contribute to the implementation of teaching and learning policies and procedures
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in digital education

💼 Skills and Expertise

• Proficiency in digital learning design and development
• Experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Articulate Storyline)
• Knowledge of 3D modeling (e.g., Blender) and game engines (e.g., Unity or Unreal)
• Strong digital competence across various devices and applications
• Expertise in graphic design, interaction design, or web development
• Experience using generative AI in a digital education context
• Familiarity with copyright clearance and accessibility regulations
