Job Description Summary
The University of Luxembourg is seeking a Research Associate (Postdoc) to join the CryptoLux team led by Prof. Alex Biryukov. This exciting role is part of the “Advanced Cryptography for Finance and Privacy (CryptoFin)” project, funded by the Luxembourgish Fonds National de la Recherche (FNR) through the CORE program.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cutting-edge research in applied or symmetric cryptography, cryptofinance, cryptoeconomics, blockchains, and internet privacy
- Publish and present research findings at top-tier conferences in the field
- Provide guidance and mentorship to two Ph.D. students working on the CryptoFin project
- Collaborate with academic and industrial partners to attract additional funding
- Contribute to the vibrant research environment at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT)
