Job Description Summary
Birmingham City University (BCU) is seeking experienced academics for part-time, flexible opportunities as Visiting Lecturers to provide dedicated support in MSc Project Supervision for the Department of Engineering. This role focuses on supervising projects in MSc Project Management and/or MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management programs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure students choose acceptable and worthy projects for their MSc programs
- Provide regular supervision and feedback through meetings with students
- Support students throughout the project process to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Mark student submissions and provide constructive feedback
- Contribute to teaching, assessment, and administrative processes within the Department of Engineering
- Participate in an induction period, including on-boarding before project initiation
