Job Description Summary
The Centre for Health Economics (CHE) at the University of York is seeking a Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow to join their Economic Evaluation and Health Technology Assessment team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in health economics and shape healthcare policy.
Responsibilities
- Expand CHE’s research activities in health technology assessment (HTA) and economic evaluation
- Critically review evidence presented in company submissions to the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE)
- Undertake new synthesis and decision-analytic modelling for pharmaceuticals and diagnostic technologies
- Develop HTA methods research and provide scientific leadership on projects
- Collaborate with a diverse team of researchers and contribute to the centre’s publication output
- Supervise junior researchers and contribute to training and capacity building activities
- Manage research projects and lead successful research teams (for Senior Research Fellow position)
