Job Description Summary

Surrey International Institute (SII) at Dongbei University of Finance & Economics (DUFE) in Dalian, China, is seeking an experienced Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Digital Business and Management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and contribute to the newly redesigned curriculum of International Business Management, focusing on the digitalization of business.

Responsibilities

  • Design and teach courses in International Business Management at the undergraduate level
  • Deliver modules on digital business and analytics, management information systems, digital entrepreneurship, project management, and international business strategy
  • Collaborate closely with the University of Surrey’s module leaders to deliver content on the China campus
  • Develop innovative teaching methods that encourage positive student interactions and overall development
  • Plan, deliver, and critically review various teaching and assessment activities appropriate to students’ levels
  • Set and mark coursework, practical sessions, and examinations promptly, providing appropriate feedback to students
  • Provide regular consultation times, personal tutoring, and extra-curricular support for students
  • Participate in peer classroom observations and staff development initiatives to improve teaching quality
  • Contribute to research activities and engage in scholarly pursuits
