The primary goal of this research project is to develop a reduced-order surrogate model for predicting ammonia direct injection spray characteristics using a hybrid machine learning approach. This cutting-edge work is part of a Royal Society International Science Partnership Funded project titled “Data-Driven Surrogate Modelling for Liquid Ammonia Direct Injection Spray Characteristics.”
Working under the supervision of Dr. Amin Paykani at Queen Mary University of London, you’ll collaborate closely with researchers from Kyushu University in Japan.
