Job Description Summary
The University of Oxford is seeking a talented Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join Dr. Sarah De Val’s research group at the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a project focused on understanding arterial identity regulation and developing novel strategies to enhance arterial growth for ischemia prevention and tissue repair.
Responsibilities
- Lead a research project on arterial identity and differentiation regulation
- Conduct in vitro and in vivo enhancer analysis using human cell lines, animal models, and zebrafish
- Perform ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, and ATAC-seq experiments on various cell types
- Execute knock-down, over-expression, and chemical screens in both in vitro and in vivo settings
- Manage academic research and administrative activities independently
- Write and publish results in international peer-reviewed journals
- Prepare scientific reports and represent the research group at external forums
