Job Description Summary

The University of Leicester is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Medical Oncologist to join their prestigious Cancer Research Centre and NIHR Biomedical Research Centre as an Associate Professor/Honorary Consultant in Medical Oncology.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a research programme of national/international standing within the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre Cancer Theme
  • Enhance impact activity and foster cross-cutting research collaborations with other themes, such as Data Innovation and Lifestyle
  • Supervise and mentor clinical and non-clinical postgraduate and undergraduate researchers
  • Contribute to teaching delivery within the College of Life Sciences
  • Deliver five programmed activities as a Consultant in Medical Oncology at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust
