Job Description Summary

The University of Leicester is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Help Desk Operator to join their Campus Services, Accommodation team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, greeting and assisting students, conference and hotel guests, contractors, University staff, and other visitors to the university’s facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and provide reception support to students, conference and hotel guests, contractors, University staff, and other visitors
  • Process post, answer electronic messages, and handle phone calls
  • Check residents in and out of the university’s accommodation facilities
  • Perform various administrative tasks as required, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping
  • Rotate between four bases: College Court, The Village student reception, The City student reception, and other locations as needed
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor at all times
