Job Description Summary

King’s College London is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager (Operations) to lead and manage a team of technicians supporting the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences’ technical operations, with a primary focus on Chemistry.

Responsibilities

  • 💼 Manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of technical facilities, laboratories, and auxiliary spaces.
  • 👥 Lead a team of technicians, delegating tasks, managing schedules, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • 🔬 Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory standards, health and safety regulations, and environmental sustainability practices.
  • 🧪 Provide technical support, advice, and training to staff, students, and researchers in lab setup, equipment maintenance, and research projects.
