Job Description Summary

Imperial College London, a world-renowned institution for research and teaching in diverse fields, seeks an Assistant Professor in Marketing to join its esteemed Imperial College Business School.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and contribute to a range of research within the marketing department
  • Direct, lead, or contribute to a research area at the highest levels of scientific rigor
  • Supervise, train, and mentor research staff and students
  • Obtain research grants and encourage junior staff to do the same
  • Manage research projects and write reports for sponsors
  • Publish high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals
  • Attend and present work at national and international conferences
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Business School and across Imperial College
  • Teach and examine courses at undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels
  • Supervise Ph.D. candidates and provide pastoral support to students
  • Contribute to curriculum development and teaching methods
  • Participate in strategic planning, objective setting, and administrative duties
