Job Description Summary of Associate Director of Statistical Programming
The Associate Director of Statistical Programming will lead a team of 10 programmers, designing and implementing expert applications to support protocol-specific statistical programming for global HIV/AIDS clinical trials. This role is pivotal in advancing clinical therapeutics worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the CBAR Programming Core, overseeing SAS macros, BASH scripts, and Python applications for ACTG and IMPAACT clinical trials.
- Collaborate with CBAR Leadership, PIs, biostatisticians, and external partners to create and maintain statistical programming infrastructure.
- Supervise three programming managers and senior staff, making key personnel decisions.
- Ensure programming processes align with CDISC SDTM and ADaM standards, supporting biostatisticians in data analysis.
- Act as the primary liaison with the ACTG/IMPAACT Data Management Center for harmonizing programming systems.
- Coordinate with the CBAR Training Committee for the development of statisticians and epidemiologists.
