Job Description Summary

The University of Exeter is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Technician to lead a comprehensive human physiology study exploring the effects of low-calorie, high-protein diets on weight loss.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the research study, including ethical approvals, participant recruitment, data collection, and analysis
  • Conduct health screenings and metabolic, physiological, and nutritional testing on human volunteers
  • Collect and prepare biological samples (saliva, blood, muscle) for analysis
  • Monitor participants’ progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure adherence to study protocols
