Job Description Summary
The University of East Anglia (UEA) is seeking a highly motivated Lecturer in Physiotherapy with expertise in cardiovascular/respiratory or neurology to join its experienced academic team in the School of Health Sciences.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory and/or neurology teaching and learning content to the BSc (Hons) and MSc pre-registration physiotherapy programmes, including delivery of taught sessions, student assessment, and dissertation supervision.
- Contribute respiratory and/or neurology expertise for physiotherapy curricula development, innovation, and facilitation of interprofessional learning.
- Support physiotherapy teaching beyond the speciality of neurology or respiratory across the programmes as required.
- Provide academic and advisory support for students.
- Support practice learning environments and provide an educational link to regional physiotherapy placement providers.
- Contribute to pre and post-registration programmes for other disciplines as appropriate.
- Collaborate with other teaching teams within the School and with service users.
- Contribute to student recruitment and interprofessional education opportunities.
- Participate in school working groups and leadership as required.
