Job Description Summary
Durham University is seeking a motivated Graduate Intern to support the Archaeology and Bioscience Collections team in providing exceptional services and access to world-class museum and art collections.
Responsibilities
- Engage with a diverse range of visitors, providing direct user support and advice on available services and collections.
- Assist in the development and planning of engagement programs, contributing to communications and social media activities.
- Respond to inquiries from students, academics, and research communities regarding the collections and services.
- Participate in short-term working groups and project work related to collections management and user experience.
- Undertake administrative tasks to support the work areas mentioned above.
- Actively engage in staff development activities, including formal training sessions, reflection, and self-directed learning.
