Job Description Summary

Durham University is seeking a motivated and experienced Club Development & BUCS Coordinator to join its Student Enrichment Directorate. In this role, you will oversee the operational delivery of the university’s competitive sports program and assist with wider club development initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational delivery of the competitive BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport) program, including fixture planning, travel arrangements, and coordination with BUCS and other institutions.
  • Assist in club development initiatives through managing a portfolio of sports clubs and delivering an annual training program for student leaders.
  • Oversee the financial administration, purchasing, and planning for the BUCS sports program, including travel, Team Durham Membership, BUCS affiliations, and competition entries.
  • Support the Team Durham management team and Team Durham President with student club leader engagement.
