Job Description Summary
Durham University is seeking a talented Assistant Professor in Education with a specialization in Digital Literacy and Pedagogies to join its prestigious School of Education.
Responsibilities
- Pursue high-quality research in the field of digital literacy and pedagogies, generating internationally excellent outputs.
- Develop plans for securing national and international funding opportunities to support research and end-user engagement.
- Contribute to relevant teaching and research supervision, as well as curriculum development.
- Enhance the quality of the research environment in the School, the University, and beyond through collaborative research activities.
- Participate in the School’s program of professional development and outreach activities.
- Contribute to the administrative work, citizenship, and values of the School.
- Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including assessment.
- Engage in and enhance the values of the School and the University.
- Attract and supervise research students, supporting the School’s vibrant and inclusive postgraduate culture.
- Carry out other duties as specified by the Head of School.
