Job Description Summary
Durham University seeks an experienced educator to join the Durham Centre for Academic Development (DCAD) as an Assistant/Associate Professor in Academic Development. This role involves supporting professional development programs, curriculum design, and educational initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support the Professional Recognition Pathway for staff seeking Higher Education Academy fellowships, including organizing workshops and mentoring sessions
- Deliver academic development programs, such as the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice, through workshops, tutorials, and assessments
- Engage in scholarly activities related to teaching and learning, including research projects, mentoring, and organizing events
- Contribute to the creation of inclusive and innovative learning environments and teaching programs
- Participate in administrative duties related to education and pedagogy
