Job Description Summary
The University of Leeds is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual to design and deliver online professional development activities using pedagogically sound principles and approaches.
Responsibilities
- Design and facilitate staff development in the use of learning technologies and technologies for research dissemination and impact, based on evaluation and analysis of needs and requirements, and with reference to the University’s Student Education Principles and pedagogy.
- Facilitate collaborative development activities demonstrating the embedded use of appropriate technology for schools, faculties, or services.
- Liaise with colleagues in Faculties, Schools, and Professional Services on staff development pathways and appropriate qualifications.
- Contribute to and support communities of practice across the organization.
- Promote and support inclusive approaches to teaching and research, and the appropriate use of technology.
- Promote the effective use of digital technologies within OD&PL to enhance the delivery of provisions and exemplify effective practices.
- Work collaboratively as part of the wider OD&PL team, contributing to its broad range of learning and development services.
- Engage in continuing professional development to ensure that development carried out by the team is up-to-date, research-informed, and evidence-based.
