Job Description Summary of Creative Community Builder
The University of Derby is seeking a part-time Creative Community Builder to join the Make/Shift team, focusing on community participation and network building in Amber Valley.
Responsibilities
- Convene and connect with diverse community groups, local organizations, and public sector agencies in Amber Valley.
- Build strong relationships and facilitate learning and information exchange among collaborators and community members.
- Develop and facilitate co-creation methods, enabling community members to participate in decision-making and co-design processes.
- Manage and deliver activities and events that engage residents in shaping creative and cultural experiences.
- Support the design and implementation of evaluation and research methodologies for community engagement initiatives.
- Contribute to sharing learning, insights, data, and research with colleagues, networks, funders, and public sector agencies.
- Manage program budgets and provide administrative support for delivery, including event planning and risk assessments.
