Job Description Summary

The University of Leeds is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join their Professional Services team as a Student Contact and Engagement Support Caller. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting student wellbeing and academic success by engaging with students through the University’s Learning Analytics System.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the institution to engage with students through learning analytics data.
  • Initiate phone calls to follow up on email communications and identify any support students may require.
  • Provide empathetic guidance and effectively signpost or refer students to relevant support services.
  • Accurately update and maintain data sheets on the outcomes of student interactions.
  • Collect and report information to support strategic planning for student success initiatives.
  • Continuously develop skills, approaches, and understanding to make effective calls and contribute to improving the overall process for students.
  • Assist in research efforts related to student engagement and academic performance.
