Job Description Summary

The University of Leeds is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Project Support Officer to join the UKRAS STEPS Research Technician Strategic Technical Platform within the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for staff, students, and stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Senior Project Manager to facilitate daily program operations
  • Arrange operational and management team meetings, prepare documents, take minutes, and monitor progress
  • Organize travel arrangements, events, and visits, adhering to financial guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records, monitor project outcomes, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Assist with internal and external communication strategies to raise the program’s profile
  • Develop detailed project schedules and work plans using project management tools
  • Exhibit flexibility in working hours to attend events and provide support as needed
